Default Who has changed a door pin?

I'm getting really tired of my driver's side door sagging, popping, and creaking. It's time to fix it. I was just wondering who has changed their door pins to fix this problem. If you changed them, how did it go for you?

Where did you get the parts?

I have tha same problem and have posted before with no response. I was looking thru an eastwood catalog and saw that they sell a tool to remove the spring. I think if that was out of there it would be easier. I hope someone can chime in cause mine is bad as well.

I took mine to the local Chevy dealer. The body shop guy said it was a common issue with these cars. I had them replace both top & bottom hinge.
It was around $170 or so installed. Drivers door.

Yes, I dont believe these are serviceable type hinges either. I believe you have to replace the hinge as one piece.

It's been a year or two, but I think the Chevy guy mentioned that, that's why I had them replace the whole hinge, plus the other one since I figured it had been stressed.

I really didn't want to to attempt it myself, that's one heavy door.
