number 8 plug????

number 8 plug???? well i changed my plugs and replaced them with tr55's and i did them all but the number 8 plug. my car hade a little shake and the 7 new plugs helped a lot but its still there a little so would the #8 plug be the problem? 
it hade the ac delcos in it before[looked like the factory ones that came with the new engine]
what could it be?[checked and double checked the wires and they are msd's]

I don't recommend getting it from underneath, as it is still a tight fit...
Headers help, but seeing as how you don't list any, I say remove the coil packs, and remove the AIR tube. You can get it from the top with those two things out of the way.

I go at #8 from below and use a spark plug socket that has the external hex head on the end. Put it on the spark plug and using a box end wrench that fits the hex end of the socket-I'm able to loosen it and get it out. Its confined and you can only turn it about 1/6 of a turn at the time but it works.
This set up works well as there isn't enough room to put the ratchet on the end of the Spark plug socket.

ok i get it ill kick my self in the nuts lol. any way i removed the air tube and i can get the socket and socket wrench on but i cant get the right possision to put any leverage on it to break it loose.after its loose most of the time ill thread them in by hand till finger tight then sinch them down.

On a '98, all plugs come out from up top. Remove the 2 coil packs that are the furthest back. You have to somewhat straddle the passenger fender for #8. With both feet on the ground, put your right leg in front of the passenger headlight and your left leg should be right next to the wheel. Then lean foward and reach back there and get your plug out. You have to damn near become a contortionist to **** with these things. I do #8 first, just to stretch. I think the plugs changes were actually easier before the headers.

thanks for the advise ill take the 2 back coils off to get to them.
i think my car has the 02 coil setup that came with the long block[read my sig] so dont i have to just move the bracket?

well i can work on cars pretty easy but this car is the hardest by far.i have done a tune up on my old 2000 jag s type v8 and it wasent that hard.i did all the other 7 plugs easy. a guy i know who owns a ls1 only shop who is going to work on it and tune it for might do the #8 for me if i cant do it lol
I changed all 8 when I did my header install but afterwards it was misfiring, I could tell there was a lag somewhere, had to be ignition or fuel, and I assumed ignition since I didn't touch the fuel lines whatsoever. Turns out the #4 was misfiring so I pull the plug and it's cracked, then I remember my buddy dropped one of the plugs before he installed it. He said it was fine I didn't even inspect it. Luckily it had warranty, still a headache though. Not saying that you have a cracked plug but that old one is a lot weaker than the new ones, it's not keeping up and is probably causing it to vibrate. My cracked one still worked, just not as well and it was making the car shake pretty bad.
I didn't change the plug like this but I had to check it since there was a misfire somewhere, just disconnect the air tube from the headers and let it dangle, take off the first two coil packs on the passenger side, and you should be able to slide your arm back there, it will be tight and you'll be pinched but you can get it done. Just be patient and kneel ontop of the engine so you can reach farther.
