Car will not charge..
Car will not charge.. ok, I've tried everything.....
all of the sudden, car stopepd charging. Figured the alt went. So I get it rebuilt. Same prob...
So I start testing things....
PCM trigger wire for the alt, reads 12
Batt reads fine.
All grounds are tight, even connect the ground cable only to my other car's batt to see if that might help...
alt wire to batt reads 12 with car off, and same when it's on..
so at this point I think this rebuilt alt is no good..
so I swap in a friends alt. that I know works...
Same ******* thing...
Tried his batt too for ***** and giggles, that didn't help..
So it seems like the alt. is just not putting out the volts??
Why? The trggier wire reads fine, also, if the connector plug if it's not connected it throws a code and the car isn't pulling any codes...
any ideas??
