Default Overheating at the Stop Light

Car just started getting almost to 260temp at stop lights the car seems to run great and cools right down to temp when moving.

Could the new tranny cooler cause a problem or suspect the thermostat.

Doubt it's the tranny cooler, I'd make sure the fans are coming on, nothing blocking the radiator, radiator cap holding pressure, coolant level, thermostat...

fans, fans , FANS
check them and their associated wiring, relays, motors and the like.

fans shoud click on at like 215 so your fan cound not be clicking on ans also check your fluid and you just let it idle and watch the fans youl hear them click on if not it cound be a relay or fuse

sounds like u have a bad water pump!

yeah i was just gonna say that, i would have to go with your water pump whent bad. i had the same thing happen in my daily driver.
