About to do my window motor

IS there anything i should do when doing my power window motor? Like, use more grease etc, etc.

make sure to zip tie the assembly together so the clock spring does not go flying off. Have fun, it is a bitch. It took me about two hours start to finish, then I found the spring came off the regulater, so then add about another 3 to that. BS!!

Kewl, i hope it doesn't take me 4-5 hrs. I really suck at things like that but it can't be harder then changing plugs and wires.

A little white lithium grease won't hurt, and blue loctite on the replacement bolt nuts, and a C-clamp to hold the window up.

wear a long sleeve shirt or something and gloves. That fiberglass will shred your arms/hands and you won't even realize it till a few hours later.

Power Window Motor Replacement

There is no reason to remove the entire window regulator mechanism. This link will show you how to do it the easy way. Took me about 1 hr. each side from start to finish.
