Top end cleaner?
Start up the car and slowly pour the Seafoam into the tube. The car will surge as it pours through. I use about 1/2 a can or so and use a small plastic cup that I can bend to pour into the hose. When you are done pouring turn off the engine and reattach the hose. Let the car sit for at least 30 minutes before starting it again and then rev it up. HUGE clouds of smoke will pour out the tail pipes after doing this...the neighbors will think your car is on fire or something. I usually do this once a year and then change the oil right afterwards.
The fuel filter change is also VERY easy and I do this at least once every couple of years. Check out http://www.installuniversity.com/ins...sity/index.htm for very good writeups on fuel filter and plug changes.
what would the advantages be introducing it into the brake booster hose?
The brake booster runs straight into the intake, so you are basically cleaning the intake out directly. This helps a bunch, especially given the inclination of the LS1 to suck oil through the PCV valve (I also have an oil catch can to help reduce the amount of oil that goes straight in). The effect is pretty convincing...and entertaining for anyone in the area.

Like KCrick said....going through the brake booster or pcv the seafoam gets sucked into the intake manifold.
