Default Spark Plug Recommendation
I will be getting my spark plugs changed soon. Im thinking about buying NGK TR55's. How long do these last? What other plugs do you guys recommend? My car is pretty much stock.

TR55's is all i have ever used since the stockers
As far as changing them i don't put more than 20.000 on them.
An they still look good.

I change mine (TR-55) once a year. They are a PITA to get out if they stay in for a long time. These engines were designed with 100,000 mile tune ups in mind but there is no way I'm leaving a spark plug in that long.

I just bought some NGK TR55IX Iridium's. People have told me to buy TR55's, and I have had good experience with Iridiums, so these plugs should work out good, and last long.

Anyone run the TR55IX's?

Well, retail $16.75 a plug, but my friend works at a local autoparts store so I got a discount. I got them for $7.30 a plug.

I put good ol' AC Delco iridium tips. $5 a pop, runs awsome, and after all thats what is supposed to be run in it. And they do go close to 100K, I've seen it many times.

I run ac delco iridiums; they work fine and they last a long time. Next time i change them i will go for a copper plug because copper is the best conductive material but they will not last as long.

Ac Delcos are enough for my buddy's NA H/C 470rwhp. Unless you run NOS or boost don't waste your money on the NGKs.

I think the AC Delco Iridiums are just rebadged NGK Iridiums. This is a stock Iridium plug I pulled from my GTP when I put colder plugs in.
