rattling noise when getting on the gas

my A4 t/a makes a noise when i put it in reverse right after puttin it in R it jerks backwards and makes a noise kinda like pins dropping in an empty metal can...coming from underneath the car...then i brake put it in Drive and right when it kicks into gear the sound occurs again...but i will drive along side a wall today and step on it and see if i can hear those rattling sounds like everyones been talking about....

ttt...what is spark knock and how to treat it? I'm tired of driving in weather over 70 and get this faint rattling only around 2k rpm in any gear with 1/4 to 1/2 throttle. Please any input!
