95 firebird Fans/ACTR fuse blows at start up
I have a 95 firebird 5.7L the blows the fuse on the FANS/ACTR at engine start up. I have tryed a larger fuse and it blows that one too. I have cut the ground wire and regrounded it just by it's self to see if there was a grounding problem but it still blows the fuse. Any idea's? Dose anyone know when this fuse get's it power from? Would it be fast/easier it put in a fan relay kit? Or any other Idea's?
Thanks for taking the time to help!

I would pull the connector from the fans and see if it still blows the fuse. If it does, you must have a short somewhere in the wires to ground....Or, if that fuse protects anything else, disconnect that stuff, too and retest. If it only blows with the fans (or whatever else) connected, then you'll probably be needing new fans (or whatever else). Sorry, I don't know what all is connected to that circuit.
