Default Plugs

Well I went to pull a plug out today just to see how bad they were ( I found out after I bought the car, the car was sprayed)

They are fouled pretty bad, definitly been sprayed on. Heres the worst part...they were gapped at .070

I put the stock one back in for now, changing all saturday to TR-5. These come pre-gapped at .35 correct? I checked them with my gapper and then all said .035. Would this be fine to stay at for daily driving? I plan on spraying nitrous way down the road, but heads/cam and a stall first.

Thanks.

Chad

If you're going to use the gas, TR 6 is what you want, but until then the TR 55s will be fine
Try a search for the reccommended gap (can't remember off the top of my head)

TR-5s for N/A is fine. When you get to spraying swap to TR-6s. And if you're stock open the TR-5s to .038- .040

Wow, everyone seems to use a different gap. I was going to use .050 for my new TR55's but now I'm wondering....

I found this for the iridium plugs...

http://www.acdelcotechconnect.com/pd..._03D-J-171.pdf

That says .040

Okay, lets have one committed answer here. Is it +/-.38 gap? or +/-.50 gap? Immediate response is appreciated because I'm about to install these plugs in a few minutes.
