Default Windshield Wiper Fluid not working right

When I press it (94' trans am btw), the wipers come on, but the fluid doesn't squirt out. The fluid container is nearly full. When I looked closer, I see a little bit of water ooze out from between the wipers- not from the squirters, but from under the plastic. My dad says he saw water under the car as well. I'm guessing a hose has come loose or something... how should I troubleshoot this?

You're on the right track, sounds like a hose could be split/loose. Get someone to activate the wiper/washer and see where it's coming out.

I have no idea what I'm doing. Is there a pic or something in the manual about where they are? It's too cluttered for me to be able to tell which is which.

I can't really see where the water comes from, other than it oozes out from under the plastic. I wouldn't know how to remove the plastic (at the bottom of the windshield) or anything

Not familiar with the LT1 routing but shouldn't be hard. Start at the hose coming off the resevoir, should be working since you've got some fulid at the wipers. Just keep following/activating it until you find it.

I can't really trace it far because it goes under something, but I know it seems to be okay until it gets under the plastic molding type stuff at the bottom of the windshield- I'm going to have to take that off to find out the problem. Anyone know how? It seems to be held on by some plastic screw type deals... only they aren't screws, the top is flat, with a little slit on the side.

Yeah thats pretty much all u need to remove to cowl.. they are just pop rivets but they always get jacked up.. its always a good idea to keep a few of them around.. think there is 6 or 7 that hold it in place.. there is no leak anywhere when you are spraying?

It doesn't make it to the squirters. It's either a MASSIVE leak before it gets there, or a hose has popped off, because a little fluid will come out from under the plastic (cowl i guess it's called...)

If they are infact rivets then they will need to be drilled out, havent looked there at all and is 1:26am, not to mention the TA is 300km away. I believe you could start out by removing the "cowl cover" (black piece where windsheild wipers are) or so, which I would assume to be held on with clips or maybe bolted rather than riveted (I dont remember at all, but it could be riveted as stated before - if we are talking about the same part).
