Burning out!!

I recently changed my brakes and re-did my disks, and now when I try to burn out my rpms stall around 2-3 and it cant burn out. Im wondering if theres anything wrong with my car or is this normal due to the new brakes?

i dont know but my first camaro did the exact same...would never burn out. but my new one, haha, it does!

if your an m6... that would be your clutch, i tried doing a burnout while my clutch was going bad and i stayed there with the rpms about 2 or 3 k and nothing happened....haha

its an a4. Im thinking its the brakes because it used to burn out nice before the brake

Maybe your car is equipped with the base 2.73s...

I had a 98' TA A4 2.73s and it was very difficult to have a burnout with it...But did the car haul a$$?Hell yeah...just really couldn't do a burnout.

Then I had a 99 TA A4 with 3.23s and it would do a burnout no prob!I think it has something to do with torque management and what gear ratio you have...

I know its stupid but,you don't have the trac control on do you?
