i filled up yesterday at a gas station that ffed there prices up, they had 87 for 2.53, 89 for 2.63, and 93 for 2.63...i took advantage of this error and filled up. but then i got a little worried that maybe they ran out of 93 and still ran 89 as the same price, so i went inside and asked the attendant if it was in fact 93 and she said she was changing the price as i pulled up and i caught it right before it went up....damn, what luck

Unless your car is tuned for it 91 vs 93 will make no difference at all..............

89octane for my buddy who puts 440+cam only and has 31degrees of timing and no knock/detonation. Running the quater at about 122mph. His car is a freak. But in my car, 93 is the norm.

92 Octane is all I can find in Eastern WA. I put it in both my GTP and the TA. Haveing the GTP first and haveing it mildly modded and seeing the difference with the KR reaction and timing reaction has me pretty much locked in on Premium fuel. Every now and then on Clubgp boards you get the people that say "I think I blew my motor..." Next post generally leads something along the lines "you put in 91+ octane right?" then of course "No I am cheap only put in 87!" Then we get a 10 page story of why the GTP needs 91+ octane blah blah blah you get the picture!
