High Pitch Whine
I started to notice a high pitch wine (very consistant sound) comming from the passenger side. It does not sound like valve train noise, and I cannot seem to figure out where its coming from. It sounds like a super charger whine to some degree, but last time I checked I don't have one of those
(I do not have AIR system so it is not a check valve)

Mine started to whine when I put in a gatorback belt. With a standard belt it was quiet.
Mabey check the power steering fluid? does it get louder when you put a load on the power steering by turning the wheel?
Or mabey alternator?

To be honest, after listening to it and talking to alot of people, it sounds like a 'high voltage leak' almost. The sound is seems to be comming from a coil. It reminds of the sound you get when a TV is on but there is no signal. Only a little louder / more noticable.
Power steering fluid is fine, there is no difference in sound by turning the wheels. I put my head by all of the pullies and it is not coming from there.

I've also heard this a few times. Really high pitched, varies with rpm, only when fully warmed up. But then the next time I drove the car it would be gone. Maybe from the egr valve? I haven't heard it since !egr. Or maybe the system that vents gas vapor into the intake?
