What Is That Squeeking!!!!!!!!!

Ok, so when I start my car up after it rains, I hear this squeeking noise from the engine area. After bout 2-3 minutes of driving, it goes away. Now recently the squeeking is happening whenever the car idiling. like if it is in neutral just waiting at a traffic light. I think it may be the belts, they have never been replaced from what i know, the car has 50,000 miles and is a 99. any other suggestions about what it could be?

idiler pulley most likly and change the belt

is that expensive??? and can a GM dealer do it?

A dealer can pretty much replace anything on your car...& will probably be kinda expensive, compared to doing it yourself....I've replaced mine...piece of cake

where can i get the parts and can you give me some help on installing it? it's that easy to replace the 2 things?

if its ur first time it will just be time consuming, and dont get pissed at stuff...just take ur time....

You can buy the part from the dealer...to install...remove belt...then basically unbolt the old & bolt on the new....should be right on top (left of the TB)...you may need to take off your lid/maf if it is in the way
