Default Electrical problems

I bought a 98 camaro flood vehicle and am getting no power to the interior... or ignition. does the Body control module provide power to everything inside the car?
the ignition interior lights.. etc?

I also think i will have to replace the ECU

anyone have any experience with water damaged vehicles?

Don't know what's going on - do you have any indication how high the water level was? If you haven't already first thing I'd do is check every single fuse and note any that were blown, then try to read the PCM for any codes - even if the SES isn't on.

Edit: My BCM is mounted on the AC ducting, passenger side. Yours is probably the same, just remove the lower panel under the glove box for access.

cant read any codes... I don't have power... there must be a fuseable link that blows if the car is submerged and it causes a short... I should just change the pcm and bcm I just dont want to waste money on something that wont cause this problem
