To start with did you check the brake fluid level?

Do a good visual inspection of all the brake lines and also check the ABS connections at the wheel speed sensors. If everything checks out, you will have to pull the codes to see what is going on.

Same thing happened to me. I had air in my brake lines which threw my proportioning valve off center. The proportioning valve throws a switch that turn the lights on in your dash. I would recommend doing a thorough brake line bleed starting with the left rear, then right rear, then front left, and finish up with the front right. When you are done. Unscrew the connector on top of your proportioning valve and make sure its on center. If it is not, push it back to center. I had to do this several times to fix my problem. Also, I bled my lines with that connector off so I could see when the thing stopped moving. Sounds like you're only braking with your front two wheels. With the proportioning valve pushed front or back, your not applying any brakes to either your front or rear wheels. If you're only getting braking out of your rear wheels, I hope you don't live anywhere near me! It'll take you forever to stop!
Here is a picture of the area.
Proportioning valve picture
There are two metal lines going to it with the blue connector in the center pointing straight up.

If you want to check to see if this is your problem before you start doing all of this work. Find your proportioning valve. There is a black plastic screwed in connector (with a blue cover) on top in the center of it. Unscrew the connector and see if the slider is pushed front or back. You can tell if its on center if the narrow part of the shaft is centered to the hole. If it is off center, one of the lobes should be centered on the hole. That pushes the switch in giving you lights on the dash. You can manually slide that front and back. If there is a problem, it will slide back as soon as you apply brakes. Good luck!
