Default Replacing door hinge bushing?

My driver's door creaks/pops when opening and closing due to a work hinge bushing. I can see the worn piece. It looks like just a thin metal bushing, but it's cracked and a section is missing.

Anyone service one of these?

Additionally, this is the main "bushing" that sees force from the door spring.

I believe GM makes a full kit for those for about 80 bucks or so... maybe some one will chime in with the part #, if not I will look for ya when I get home unless you find it before then. One of the more common trouble spots on F-Bods.

Thanks for the response!

Glad to know others have this problem too. I've had this problem since I first owned my LS1 car (bought 2nd hand), and lately it's been getting to me.

Please get me a part number.

Ive never done it on the camaro, but the hinge pin bushings on my S10 have gone out before. Not too hard to do yourself (helps to have a second person), you can get the correct ones for the S10 at Oreillys for 5-8 bucks if I remember correctly. Check Oreillys before you spend 80 bucks on a dealer kit

Charging, there are two posts in the above theread you directed me to by ME still asking for help. I've already seen that link and it's not a fix. I've tried to rotate the bushing to the "good" side, and that works nicely for about a week and then the creaking comes back.

I was looking for a complete fix.
