Headlight problem
I'm not familiar with how the headlights on my 97 Trans Am work. As of late when I turn my lights on the headlight does not pop up, although I can see the light is on. Eventually, if I keep turning the switch on and off enough they pop up, but lately they are taking longer to pop up. Weird thing is when they do finally pop up they don't have a problem turning on and off again. It usually only happens when I haven't used the lights in a while. Any suggestions? I figure something needs replacing, just don't know where to start. Any help would be appreciated.

well, if the only thing missing is the white plastic thing its ok becuase the white plastic thing just covers the actual metal tab. One side of my headlights is missing that white tab cover. if you have the metal piece missing then your lights will not stay up because the metal tab holds them up.
