left headlight is blinking...wtf?

left headlight is blinking...wtf? I just replaced the left headlight motor gear about a month ago and now it is popping up and down about 4 times before it quits. Any suggestions

p.s. I just did my first two dyno runs today...the numbers were 285hp and 312torque. Hopefully both numbers up to the mid 300's soon... next step is the 1/4 mile track to see what I run there.

i replaced it with a new brass gear. it used to grind. now it flips up and down 4-5 times then stops. maybe the sensor that tells it to stop when it opens is bad or maybe the whole frickin assembly?
