Default AC recharge kit good enough?

Hey all, my AC has never really worked but I figured I should get it fixed since its not getting any cooler here. And so the girl quits whinning. But anyway...

It blows out air, it just never gets cold. Let alone cool. Just stale air. Would one of those recharge line/bottle deals at Autozone work, or is the problem somewhere else?

Your air shouldnt just stop working unless you R134A is leaking out somewhere from what i know. What i always do when someones air isnt working is put a can R134A with stop leak and a can with die in. This way if it is a small leak the stop leak takes care of it if not then the die should let you know where the problem is.

I had the same problem and decided to give the recharging kit a try at auto zone, and it worked great for me! Blows colder then my g/f's 2006' car!
