Default Need Help Ses Light

Ok so I recently replaced my headlights with some better more powerful halogen lights and what not and everything was fine. Tonight I am driving to my friends house and the SES light came on. Now recently I have had all my brake pads replaced and my rotors were grinded down. The only thing that I have changed was the headlights.

The old headlights were 65/45watt and now they are 65/55 watt. I dunno...would this cause the SES light to come on. Otherwise I do not know what is wrong with the car. Please need input, cus I am on a tight budget and really can't afford all these problems right now.

P0153 is the number. My current setup is everything stock except a cutout. IS that an o2 sensor??? If so is it defective or something, have not run into problems before with the cutout. Well going to be getting Magnaflow catback pretty soon so I guess that will fix it if the cutout is the problem.

P0153 is H02S Slow Response, Bank 2, Sensor 1 (Precat, passenger side). Where's your cutout? An LS1 can throw that code if there's an exhaust leak a few inches from the sensor. Also check to make sure it's plugged in tight and there's no corrosion on the terminals.

It's located on the passenger side before the cat like stated above.

Below is the best picture I could find. I outlined in red the O2 sensor you want to check. Hope this helps.

http://shbox.com/1/ho2.jpg shows what they look like/location on a 95, not sure if your 97 is exactly the same, but gives you an idea.
