Default AC problem

Well, I was just on vacation and my car sat for a week. When i came home i took her out for a drive, everything was working well. Then the AC started blowing hot air. After a cold start, the AC seems to work a little, but after the motor warms up a little the air becomes hot again. It seems to me that the heat is running along with the AC. Any imput would be helpful. Thanks.

While i was at work today my dad called his mechanic, and he said it would probably be that. Anyone else have any other ideas?

up
I'm gonna replace that 3 prong connector. Mine is blowing hot all the time. Yesterday the engine compartment was making a loud wine while the AC was on. It was still blowing cold air though. Now it sounds ok but its hot air???

its pretty small in the back of engine compartment just in front of the passenger side firewall. 3 small hoses plug into it.
