Replaced both DS and PS at 28K miles - although the DS was still working faster than the PS at the time. Used the Seimens motors from Autozone and haven't had a problem since.

both mine are about to go but i dont know how to do the change and also my windows rattle like crazy and there is this tab that goes on the window broke too, the dealers wants to much for the fix they want 80 bucks just to look at it...any suuggestions

Never had to change mine on either one of my cars (knock on wood). But I take it easy on them, I NEVER use my windows, only when I have the tops off.

But I have installed a **** load of them in my buddies cars.

drivers twice and passenger once. Stupid window motors. Im gonna do the thermal bypass to the next one that goes out. Some people say their motors work awesome then!

Gonna replace the DS on mine tonite, 35k mi. Picked up a Dorman from Autozone. They say you can't get the Siemens anymore and that Dorman now owns Siemens or some **** like that. It has a lifetime warranty and claims to fixed GMs design flaws so it should be OK.

Driver's side started mess'n up after the last time I ran her at the track. Now its fine but I don't want it to happen again when im parking and I have to leave my car alone.

Well my driver side went out

I'm lookin at the pictures and it seemed pretty self explanatory but I'm getting myself intimated by doing it b/c I don't know how to get the new one in and all that good stuff. Everytime I usually do stuff to the car I have someone whos done it before to help me out
