Lost My Get Up & GO I recently purchased a 96 bird and LOVING IT! However I lost my Get UP & GO from a stop I have power up to about 30 / 40 mph. then the car feels as if it lunges back then forward every so slightly.
It seems as if the car is gasping for air a freind suggested looking to the o2 sensor as well as plugs/wires.
Also replacing the o2 how many are there and although I'm handy I have never done this before .

maybe a fuel or misfire problem. Check fuel filter and or pump. It sounds like it's starving for fuel to me. Air, fuel, spark. If you don't have those, you don't go.
EDIT: Forgot to ask if it's throwing any codes. Is it?

FUEL FILTER!!!!!!!!!!!/or pump or injectors....my car did this when the fuel filter was clogged full of crap and dirt...change it if you havent already and u'll see how it will wake up again
