Default Window Motor Part Number?

Search isn't working....need to replace drivers side window motor, usualy crap as i can only get the window down 4 inches every 5 minutes.

GM Part Number or other suitable part number so I can get one relatively cheap maybe from autozone?

Click on the Sticky above in this section. It has all the part numbers in it.

742-101 is the siemens part number a lot of people USED to get at Autozone but it's been replaced by "Dorman" WL42014... the old one did not have a left and right.. I dont think the new one does either. Anyway, the dorman is made in Korea but seems to be made better. I just put one in today.. IMO it's a little noisier but definately quicker.. $55 at autozone. there's some cheaper ones on ebay but...

sorry to bump an old thread, but did you use that extra funny looking bracket when you installed your dorman?

Helped a buddy do both of his a couple months ago, not sure of the brand - got them from Advance? Anyway, they came with a bracket and we didn't use it.
