Have you encountered this issue? okay, i just changed the oil in my car wednesday.....started it up after i let the oil circulate. topped off the oil, checked plug wires etc. everything looks good.
started up the car runs smoothly at first, but then what seems like a rough cycle.....maybe every 6-7 seconds it will do it again, and while driving,
1st, gear....tooo about 2500rpm, it gets rough, soon as it gets past it smooths out....usualy i shift at 2500-3000, but it will do it in every gear.....rough enough to where it vibrates.....
nothing wrong with the wheels, tire pressure and allignments are good.....feels like its deff coming from the engine.
i did put some gas in it recently....at 91 oct. thats what premium is around here 91.....i usually put 93-92
any ideas.....iknow you guys are smart cookies.....

Negative. There is no SES light on. I figured if there was something real messed up....it would of thrown a Signal and switched the SES on...but nothing...
im being told its a loose spark plug wire...does that sound correct?...i have yet to mess with it....

While I'm at it if it was a loose wire the ruffness is a misfire and would normally throw a code on its own none the less the rich mixture from not burning could throw a o2 sensor code. Im chasing a misfire myself and wish you luck. I'll be thinking this one through for the rest of the night and will tune in for check ups and if I come up with something for ya.

throttle response is good, push on the gas it goes, theres no sputters or stalls.....could it be a motor mount?....why would i get that rough vibration coming from the car when the engine is at 2500rpm.....i know this is drawing a blank picture u almost have to be there to feel whats going on
