Default tips for oiling a kn filter

I have the spray oil and don't want to put more than I have to, any tips?

dont over do it, do very thin coats

I put just enought on mine to make it PALE PINK..not pink..PALE PINK
And then i let it sit in the sun for an afternoon....before putting it back in

Just do it as the directions say. Just make sure it sits our in the sun for a couple hours afterword so you dont suck all the oil in the intake

Some guys connect it up to a shop vacuum and pull air through it for a few minutes. Better than wrecking a MAF.
