window motor problems???
window motor problems??? My driver sid window motor went out last year. so I got a new one off ebay(that may be the problem) its no a gm motor. I put it in and it worked for about 10 times then it would roll down or up about 2" and then stop you could pull it past the dead spot and it would go another 2" then stop. one of the teeth broke off. I sent it back and they sent be another one. The same exact thing happened.
Is my car causing this or the cheap motor? I was just wondering if any of you guys had this problem before since I know the window motors are bad about going out anyway but never seen the teeth breaking before.
By the way its the teeth inside the motor that are breaking.

The problems you are having there sound like you are getting a crappy motor. There is some voltage/current issues involved in the motors failing so early. You can find some info on that here https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...5&page=1&pp=20
I would recommend getting a GM or Autozone motor and you will not be having this strange problem. Have you greased the tracks. It is always a good idea to clean them off and grease them of Lithium grease. You can find this at any auto parts store.
