Question Installing Trans Temp gauge?

Auto Meter's install instructions on temp gauges is a little vague. I've installed other gauges before, but never a trans temp gauge.

How would it install in my TA?

well you can put the sending unit in the pressure port about the selector on the tranny. and its pretty simple hookin it up. i can't really remember but one post is for the power wire, i think one ground and the other is for the sending unit. but make sure you don't touch the sending unit or the post on the guage to a hot wire or it could fry it.

The sender will have to be "covered in fluid", so you'll need to put it somewhere that "fluid will come out" in order to get it to work. Be prepared to make a mess and get some extra fluid to top it off when you're done installing it (you may need several quarts).
