Ticking sound

Ticking sound I had my car at a hsop getting the opti replaced. There was a ticking noise and he said it was becasue one of the wires was arcing (It was sparking onto the water pump). I recently changed the wire but notice there is still a ticking noise. No where near as loud though. You can only hear it when the hood is open. My one friend thinks it is lifters but the other says it is probably just the injectors.
I had found metal in my oil about two months ago and then we looked at my rocker arms and Cylinder 2 Rocker arm has a chip. That's the only reason I'm not dismissing it as the injectors.
Coudl getting new rocker arms solve it? Plus, if I gotta get new ones, do I gotta get all new ones or just get ones for the bad rockers? The car has GMPP 1.6 Roller rockers right now. Would getting a different rocker( say a Crance Cams 1.6) affect anyhting?

I would check that opti-spark. I wouldn't doubt that guy that replaced it w/ the new one cracked it causing it to still make a ticking noise. The new plug wires prob. covered up half tha crack or just barely leaving enough open to still acr onto the pump. I could be wrong, I'm no mechanic. But I would check just in case. If you have cured the prob. by now then disreguard all this.
