wierd whining sound wierd whining sound comeing from engine it sounds like the power steering pump but it is full of fluid and doesnt leak what could be my other options idler pully??? thanks in advance for the help tim
Idler pulley, tensioner pulley, or AC tensioner pulley. (Most of these, you can clean and repack, as long as the bearings are just dry not damaged... Tiny tiny screwdriver, pop off the side where you can see the *****, clean 'em, repack, pop back together... beats 20 bucks each!
And if it's only on off ramps and hard corners, might be the PS anyway. Add a PS cooler MIGHT help, so might flush with synthetic PS fluid. Mine whines too.
