Question Instrument panel Dash Lights are out ?

Help....
I have a 2000 Z28 and the dash board instrument panel lights are not working.
All gauges work fine, headligthts turn on like normal and all fuses I know to check seem fine. I just dont have any illumination to the dashboard lights at all. I do have normal interior lights..just no instrument lights.

I removed the instrument panel (gauge cluster) and viewed all of the bulbs in it, they look fine.

Help Help.....is there a special fuse I am not finding...?

Help... E-MAIL ME AT(TTEXCYTER@AOL.COM) OR INTERNAL TO THIS SITE....

Not to insult, but is your scrolling button on the left side all the way down? (the button you scroll up to turn on the interior lights while in the car)

check the 5 amp fuse at the bottom of the fuse box. That's most likely your problem. Also a good way to check is look at your odometer in the daytime, turn on your headlights, if it goes away, then it's something with that fuse or circuit.

I am glad to see a reply to my post that has usefull data...I checked the fuse its fine..and the Odometer brightness goes dull when I turn on headlights..
I think I have it isolated to the Dimmer switch...must replace it and see if this fixes it..otherwise I bet its the POS BCM or Gauge console being FUBAR...maybe

thanks for the data relating toodometer brightness....
