Default Cricket like chirping ...

Hey everyone,

I'm trying to diagnose a really perculiar sound that just started today on the passenger side from what sounds like a cricket. It's very sporadic doesn't necessarily come in during any particular RPM or driving conditions. It has been known to come in during driving and parked in a parking lot. I'm not quite sure what exactly it could be. The car runs fine and just as strong as normal. Any suggestions.

I was all happy w/ my car today because I just put a check valve in the PCV setup to prevent pressurizing the crank case and now this noise.

PLEASE any suggestions would be appreciated. Someone has to have some guess.

Looking for any ideas... Could it be an exhaust leak?

It's not a belt slipping. There are no belts in the vacinity of this noise. I do think it may be a vacuum leak on my passenger side header. I'm going to try and figure that out today.
