Default Quality 02 Z28 Repair Manual

Not having alot of luck searching. I'm sure this has been brought up b4, so a link would be great.

I want a QUALITY repair manual 4 my 02 z28. I've had Haynes, and other cheaper manuals in the past, and don't really feel they were worth the paper they were printed on.

My question is who makes the BEST, and where can I get them?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks. I checked out there site...just what I'm looking 4! $135 though..ouch. Oh well better to spend 135 for quality than waste 25 on crap.

Check out Mitchell or Alldata one or the other is in just about every shop. They have nice flow charts.

If you can't get a set, which BTW I have seen them in Pawn shops, you can copy the F-body section at your local public library. Bamm.. now you have one tailored to your ride.

If you intend to do any major work yourself, the official GM service (Helms) manual set is essential.

Helms puts them on sale from time to time for half price, also look on ebay for a used set.

What about the cd versions that people sell for like $10-20. I don't know if that is similar in detail to the helms or the haynes. How much do they cover?

Don't think it's the same thing, helms are over 3K pages. The '98 manuals are half price right now if you're looking for one.

I hate the way alldata is setup compared to GM SI. As said above, the service manuals (helms) are the way to go if you are a do-it-yourselfer.
