Default Rear hatch sqeeking?

anyone have this problem? and what did u do to stop it..its starting to drive me crazy...i just turn the music up louder when driving by myself to drown it out, but with someone else in the car trying to talk to them..its a really anoyying back ground noise....so what should i do...

Mine does the same thing and I have a feeling one of the hatch shocks is making it do that. My right one is pretty weak, so I'm going to have to change that and hopefully the noise quiets down.

And have you tried messing with those rubber cushions in either corner of the hatch? One might be screwed to far in. It's worth a try.

no i didnt even think about those cushions i'll try that tomorrow...but yeah one of my shocks have went bad too..i probably should of put that up before..

Mine has been doing that for a while now and I cant seem to find the problem. I also think its from the shocks thoug.....

hey i just would like to say..the rubber cucshions were all they up in the hatch not doing anything...so i screwed them out or (down) where it made it hard to close the hatch...and now there is no more squeking...thanks for the advice...
