There was a poll on here, and the K&N bigger size filter is what most (without lowered cars) said they buy, I think it was #4007, but im not sure on that, you'll have to look around or wait for someone else to reply.

it is hp2006...that's what I use and I like it. I get better oil pressure with the k&n than the m1 filter.

well if your just wondering what the part # is for the filter you know you're going to buy, they can tell you that where you buy it.

K&N hp2006. I'm lowered and I haven't torn it off on a speedbump and trashed my motor yet.

There's plenty of things that hang lower than the filter, it's really nothing to worry about unless you're offroading with your car, traversing ruts and deep crevasses.

It always cracks me up when people say they don't want to use the bigger filter because on the K&N the nut on the bottom sits slightly below the oil pan. I always say they same thing....If you bottom out enough to take your oil filter out you have MUCH bigger problems than a snapped oil filter

K&N and Mobil 1 are too expensive for oil filters IMO, and FRAM, stp, etc is crap. I use Bosch premium filters, large volume and good flow.
