Noise from rear I have been hearing a noise from the rear of the car when I'm at a stop. It's hard to explain but it sounds almost like something is shaking. I also hear it when I'm reversing the car but can't hear it( car is loud) when I'm driving the car. Any ideas?
um, not a very good explanation, but the most common thing would be the O2 sensors.
Is it like a metalic rattle?
Get under the car while it idles and try to pinpoint the sound, your not going to get a good answer from what you said, there could be many thing "shaking"

Heat shields maybe, I know one of mine makes a rattling sound somewhere in front of the drivers side rear section of the differential. I've never bothered to locate it and correct it, as I can only hear it with the windows down. 
if its coming from the rear of the car....youve really only got two options...your suspension or exhaust....check these out, give us a better discription to...and please make sure your spare is loose
