I am picking up my custom plates on Friday and I would like to put two new stainless steel screws to hold on the plates. What size is the the thread? I'd like to walk in Ace Hardware and pick them up. Make it a quick stop.

Standard size for every car ever made iirc. You can get them literally anywhere.

I understand that, but what is the specs on the threads? I just want to walk into Ace hardware, go over to the screws, find the thread size I need and walk out.
