Stripped Screw??

Default Stripped Screw??

i know this is a stupid question but anyone have any ideas on how to remove a striped screw...i'm trying to take one of the sensors off my throttle body that has a star shaped slot but the screw is stripped, its just round so no star shape...anyone have any ideas thanks

Use a pair of vise grips, if that doesnt work drill into it and use a e-z-out.

i havent had much luck with vise grips or easy outs, you can try them, usually i will just use a demel tool and a cut off wheel and cut a notch in the head to use a flat head screwdriver on it

I bought a craftsman damaged screw remover a few years back for like 15 bucks. Works gooooood.

+1.......IMO dont waste your time with ezouts, ive bought 3 sets, they are all floating in a huge garbage dump somewhere
