Default Help!....One headlight will not go down.

My passenger side headlight will not go down. They don't make any wierd noiese and the driver's side comes donw like normal. I can hear that there is power getting to the Passenger side headlight,...it sounds like there is something tugging it..but it just won't go down.

Oh,...this particular headlight motor did have that problem of the buzzing sound when you put it down,...but I did that switch where you rotate the teeth on the motor. Then it all worked fine.

Any Ideas??

Default check for a small screw that is missing from closer arm

I actually had the same problem and found a screw misssing from the arm that pulls the cover closed. i used a plastic tie and it worked,,good luck.

So the black cylinedr thing will allow me to lower it manually?

Could anyone better describe the process of putting it down manually. Where is the black cylinder thing located?

Theres a rubber piece right above the headlight that has a small hollow tube sticking up that says "Remove for Manual Operation". Pull on it until it fully comes out (it isn't attached to anything). Then a black hexagonal shape will be revealed twist it and the headlight will slowly...S-L-O-W-L-Y rise/go down. I just turned my headlight gear 180 degrees two nights ago and I can't understand why no one explains this better I mean really i opened my hood and saw no **** and was confused.

Mine headlight won't go down sometimes. So i have to lower it manually. I think the problem with my headlight is that the two pieces of metal that lift the headlight is loose and the motor stops working because it can't pull it down.
