Gas Mpg?

OK, 5 months ago I got 18-22 mpg, I just had a cat replaced but it still
smells like a perm out the exhaust and now Im around 8-10 mpg. The car seems
to run like crap when it is cold and then a little better when warm, With cutout
open. I know it prob sounds like plugs,o2,filter but could it fall that much that fast, New Cam,heads,Intake this spring should I just wait or Will it cause more problems? Any Ideas?

Yeah its not good Im getting like 120 miles on a tank and I dont hot Rod it!

IT came On For Having a Bad Cat, But It Is Off Now And I Replaced The Cat. I Do Realize That A Bad Cat Is From Something Else Not Working Right.....

sounds like you need new O2 sensors.

i think choco nailed it on the head. this sounds like a o2 sensor has went out good time for long tubes now

You just answered your own question. Do the normal routine maintenance like plugs, o2's, fuel filter, air filter, clean MAF snesor, maybe seafoam the topend. Could be a dirty/clogged injector as well.
