Default alignment/camber issues

my front left wheel is leaning outward. the top of the wheel is pushing out further than the bottom portion. more so than the rest of the tires. and my car is pulling to the right side fairly bad. would this be the reason? and what tools would i need to adjust the camber if its out of whack? i hit a curb a long time ago and im sure its the culprit.

could deffinately be the reason..... if the top is leaning out more than the camber is positive, but your car should be pulling to the side where there is more positve camber. you should probably take it and have it alligned its like $75 last time i checked and that is if nothings bent from the curb

well i dont like paying to have stuff fixed. id rather do it myself if at all possible heh. thats why i wanted to know what tools would be needed to adjust the camber back.

and does anyone knows the factory specs of a 01 TA vert camber?

You can't really do it yourself. You can make the actual adjustments yourself, but it takes an alignment rack to take the actual measurements. You could also have a bad upper balljoint.

if you want to do it yourself get a bubble gauge and a tape measure and go for it.

the alignment rack won't do you any good if you don't have an alignment machine/computer. The computer will have the specs in it, I haven't done an alignment on a f-body yet but the total camber is probably around 1 degree positive so about + .5* on 1 side. But something has to be bent and I don't think there is enough camber adjustment possible if it is visible by eye on a f-body.

you need a spexial rod for caster and camber on these cars. i did the alignment at school with out it and it was a bitch took about 3 hours having to recompensate after every adjustment

I believe that you have to use certain shims to correct camber, along with the rack and the aligning program of course...Correct me if Im wrong.

just take it in and have it aligned your just going to **** it up worse than it all ready is. you probably have something bent if its that far out i do alignments every day at work it not something you can do by you self and as far as bubble gages go they suck. if you have the money to buy a alignment rack then you should just pay a shop to do it for you. and you do need the special rod or tool to do it. not trying to be a dick, but it only cost $49.95 to have a two wheel alignment done.
