need some help with egr sup guys i have a few codes on my z and i need some help fixing it.
i have 2 codes the 1st is. po1404 egr closed position performance. and no 2 is . po405 egr position sensor low voltage.
i want to keep the smog **** on it because if i sell it in the future in need it to pass in tn[dont have none in al]. how can i fix it?
is there a way to clean it out or some thing?

i posted this in the pcm and dionostics section but i dident get the info i needed.
i have a new gaskets for the egr so i was thinking of takeing it all off and cleaning it out with carb cleaner so if its a waste of time let me know.

i gotcha cowboy.....sounds like the valve is broken inside....best remedt is just get a new pump....you can find one on ebay easy....one thing u might want to try before that though...is take the hose out of the manifold housing clean it out, unplug the egr valve body and then plug it back in after the codes are cleared...if it comes back just get a new valve
