Default poly motor mount

Are the right and left mounts interchangeable? Anybody have the energy ones? My local part store has them and I want to make sure it is the right part, it say for late model GM. Anybody have a part number for the energy motor mount?

Both sides are exactly the same.

Only thing you have to worry about is making sure the "tab" on the rubber/polyurethane is pointing up.

I like prothane but energy is a well known/good brand as well.

it is a PITA, but DO NOT let that deter you..you can do it..set aside an extra day to go kick something around in between busting knuckles and etcetc

Good point, I actually did take an extra day to do the Motor mount swap. I would say its a worthy pain though!!

Did any of you notice any differences in the way your cars felt, 'like through the steering wheel" after your poly mount install?

I installed a set of these on my LT1 and they put such road noise/vibration throughout my car that i had to take them back out.

Any complaints?

I did prothane mounts. LOVED them. Wi a big cam they are even better. They shake the car more instead of the motor juming all over the engine bay. Its not hard if you have the right tools. A vice comes in handy but not a necesity.

This is New_Z.. can I get some install tips? Looks like I am getting some prothanes soon, and I am clueless on the easiest way. Cherry picker, jack... I was already told the passenger side needs the A/C removed. I have a 99 Z.
Lemme know guys!
Thanks
