Default ACDelco PF61 (long version) is there a benefit to using this instead of the 46 style?

Anyone use this filter ??? why? noticed any benefits im curious about it and was wanting some incite before i decided if im getting one or not for this weekend oil change all info apprecaite as usual!!

I run it, it holds an extra 1/2 quart of oil. Only downside is it hangs maybe 1.5-2" lower than the stocker.

yeah i wonder the same thing, anybody ever bottom out their filter?

I run it car takes a full six quarts with it and i wouldnt worry about bottoming it out since the oil pan hangs just as low as the filter

the k-memeber hangs lower than the filter...so most cases the k member will bang before the oil filter...

is there a loss in pressure with the bigger filter? any down sides to it?
