Fuel Pump Help

Fuel Pump Help Ok guys this is for my buddy who's having alot of problem with his 89 Formy.
In the past year he has replaced his fuel pump twice and yesterday it crapped the bed again on him. It seems to be everytime he makes a turn the car just shuts off. He goes to start it back up and the pump wont prime.
Things he's done and check each times are, Fuses, Connections, Grounds and injectors. he doesn't run the tank low, maybe 1/4 of a tank then fills it back up. He fills his car up at different gas stations each time, hes only puttin Silver in the tank so he doesn't have a favorite station.
This past time the car had a hard time turnning over, it took maybe 8 seconds to get the car to turn over and the day before it took mabye like 5-6 seconds he says.
He's looking for any help you can give. He's got post on 3rd Gen but no one has an idea. He changed the fuel filter the first time and checked it the last time for cloggs. I'm thinking a bad ground somewhere, but where???
