Put a handful of mothballs in an old pair of panty hose and tie two of these under the hood. I do live out in the country and have farmers who bring stuff in for mice problems. Used in this way the mothballs work great.

put a glue trap over night on the floor boards of the car.
they come 4 in a pace at walmart.
i hade a mouse in my house and i caught it with in hours with the boards
