Help!!!

I was driving around 70 or so and my car just shut off. I coasted to a stop and tried to restart it but it dont even crank over or make a sound at all. I tried jumping it and still nothing, anyone have any ideas what it could be?

When you tried jumping it did it turn over and not crank? If so then it sounds like a fuel pump. Turn the key on and press the valve in the fuel rail. If pressurized fuel does not shoot out then that is your problem. If thats not it then check all your fuses and relays. Check to see if you have spark too.

Possibly alternator went belly up? Check to see if you are getting any juice to the starter? I'll assume the battery is definitely good and charged? If not again possibly altenator?

This might sound obvious, but do you have gas in the tank?

If so check for spark and get a fuel pressure gauge. Start some basic trouble shooting. Good luck.
