If it's just a bad sending unit then it really makes no difference. But if you're actually only making ~20psi at engine speeds of say 2-3,000rpm, then I'd leave it parked.

Well i took my car to the dealership today, and it was the sending unit! Im so happy. I was scared it was the oil pump. Thats where my oil leak was coming from and thats my my gauge was reading so low. The dealership checked my pressure and it was 45 at idle, after the new sending unit was a oil change.

Glad to hear the good news. This is why it's important to check other possibilities before replacing the oil pump.
